Management Controls Deploys Data Visibility Enhancements in the latest TRACK Release
Management Controls, Inc. deploys Data Visibility Enhancements in the February Release.
Data Visibility Enhancements: February Release
We are excited to announce new data visibility enhancements added to the TRACK Platform this month! We are always working to identify problems our customers are having while using TRACK and strive to improve the user experience.
Personas Impacted:
-
TRACK Coordinator
-
TRACK Authorizer
-
Vendor Timekeeper
Rejected Allocation
Sometimes, allocations (activity worked that is allocated to a PO) will be rejected by TRACK Authorizers due to an unknown, unresolved issue and have proven to be challenging to correct, often taking multiple steps.
In this release, we have made enhancements to the rejected allocation process in TRACK for Vendor Timekeepers to easily identify rejected allocations and take the appropriate actions.

Cost Object Status Visibility
Before this release, Cost Objects that are inactive or have past their effective date are not clearly indicated when during the Authorization process when the customer wants to prevent authorizing charges to cost objects in those states.
In this release, we have updated the authorization pages so that they display the status of the cost object leveraging familiar methods for Authorizers, based on settings enabled, so Authorizers have the necessary settings enabled.

Alert Management
Setting up alerts and notifications in TRACK can easily be overlooked by users to assist them in their daily process, which could result in limited use of alert features.
Allow TRACK Coordinators to manage settings and alerts for others. This will lead to reduced frustration for users as they set up their preferences and enables TRACK Coordinators to drive adherence to the daily process.

Skill Qualifications
Without restricting billable skills to those that the resource is qualified to perform, there is risk that a non-qualified person may perform the work and be paid for work in which they were not qualified.
TRACK provides a skill qualification function to restrict the billable skills to only skills where the resource is qualified. TRACK also supports the use of pre-qualification system integrations or to manage skill qualifications via an import.
