Management Controls Earns Top Honor as a Best Place to Work in Houston 2023

The Houston Business Journal has ranked Management Controls (MCi) #8 for the greater Houston area on their Best Places to Work list.  

MCi was one of 25 companies named "the best of the best" in the medium-sized company category in Houston, with a score of 92.03. The Houston Business Journal chose the top companies as finalists based on anonymous employee feedback surveys spanning several topics. 

bptw-best-places-to-work-logoedited-noyear-2The rankings of the top workplaces were announced at an in-person event on October 26, held at the Marriot Marquis Houston. Attendees were encouraged to wear their best cruise attire and the countdown-style event included awards for "Best Dressed" and "Most Company Spirit."  

Best Places to Work categories were extra small (10-24 employees), small (25-49 employees), medium (50-99 employees), large (100-399 employees), and extra-large (400+). The full list is here

Greater Houston-area employees were given the opportunity to take a confidential survey online, and Nebraska-based Quantum Workplace issued each company a score based on employees' answers. Employees evaluated their companies in areas such as goals and leadership, communication and support, advancement opportunity and skill development, recognition and compensation, tolerance, and flexibility, and embracing innovation and ideas.  

Companies received scores up to 100, and the Houston Business Journal, upon receiving the rankings from Quantum, decided a cutoff for the lists.
