Management Controls, Inc. deploys Revokes and Credits Enhancements in the April Release.

We are excited to announce new Revokes and Credits Enhancements added to the TRACK Platform this month! We are always working to identify problems our customers are having while using TRACK and strive to improve the user experience.

Personas Impacted:

  • TRACK Authorizer

  • TRACK Coordinator

Revokes & Credits Enhancements

Before this release, our Revoke and Credit functionality was intended to provide productivity gains for users and enable TRACK Coordinators and Authorizers to spend less time doing rework when mistakes are made. We have observed this functionality wasn't fully meeting these goals and caused frustration for users.

In this release, we have enhanced the Revoke and Credit functionality in TRACK to:

  • Prevent voiding timesheets until revokes are cleared
  • Enable Revokes at a location level
  • Ability to reverse a revoke when the created allocation is deleted
  • Update Authorization Page to not show the original allocation
  • Show the description of the material charge while requesting a revoke
  • Credits wouldn't be limited to the amount Authorized in Track

Users interested in learning more about these enhancements can head over to TRACK University and complete the April 2022 Release Overview!

TRACK Anywhere

Kiosk Device Installation

Prior to this release, the TRACK Anywhere Kiosk application was only available on an intrinsically safe Mesa 2 hand-held device, which limited accessibility for customers to utilize the Kiosk application.

With the updates from the April release, the Kiosk application can now be installed onto any Windows 10 device to offer customers cheaper alternatives and more flexibility in the device they want to utilize. The Windows device must have a camera that can be used to scan QR codes for the badge in/out functionality of the Kiosk application.

Virtual Gate

Virtual Gate administrators and timekeepers that have workers using Virtual Gate did not have visibility into which foreman badged in/out a worker or if the worker badged themselves in/out.

With the latest update, when an individual worker or a crew foreman is badging in/out on Virtual Gate, the camera will record the individual and display the recording within the management console to help administrators and timekeepers validate the individual workers and crews.
