Management Controls, Inc. launches new software release in October to improve the user experience within the TRACK Platform.
We are regularly looking for business problems our customers experience and how we can solve them through the TRACK Platform. Each of the items in our latest experience improvements release has been designed to solve specific problems TRACK users are facing to improve the daily settlement process and increase overall user experience!
Sometimes, contractors require credit payments to the owner or need to make a change to a charge already made. The TRACK Platform and ERP systems previously could not communicate this change requiring the contractor and owner to go through several manual steps to be on the same page. The TRACK Platform will now be able to sync credits with ERP systems causing fewer headaches and an increase in efficiency for both the contractor and owner. There is some configuration needed from MCi in order to use this function and it is only available for certain ERP systems at this time, but it will soon be available for everyone. Please contact your MCi Account Manager if you are interested in the credits enhancements!
Track Authorizers can spend too much time authorizing low-risk accepted allocations that could have been spent in the field overseeing work. Track Coordinators now have the option to change the settings within TRACK to allow Track Authorizers to authorize a selection of accepted allocations that are low-risk and do not have exceptions. The new enhancement will assist Authorizers in their daily review process by allowing a simple selection of accepted allocations that do not have exceptions, reducing time to authorize low-risk items.
There are instances where Track Authorizers need to hold off authorizing an allocation because of contractual agreements. In the past, Track Authorizers would end up reviewing the same items several times while Track Coordinators and Vendor Timekeepers were kept in the dark on why the daily settlement process was being delayed. Now, Authorizers can add comments during the Authorization process that are saved and can be revisited later both on screen and in reports, which can be accessed by Authorizer, Track Coordinators, and Vendor Timekeepers.
When we launched the ability to require attachments to overrides, we launched it in phases. The first phase only let users view the attachments during the initial review of the override. Now, users will be able to view override attachments throughout the entire daily settlement process. This will not only make the process more efficient, but it will also provide historic information when audits are needed.
Track Authorizers previously could not see field notes added to show what work was completed and how the project was progressing when going through activity keeping them out of the loop. Now, Track Authorizers can be on the same page as the rest of the team with visibility into the field notes attached to the allocated activity.
In the past, Track Coordinators could have extra administrative work to do after importing users into TRACK to make sure each user had the correct Area ID and had a temporary password when needed. Now, they will be able to make those specifications inside of the import itself cutting back on extra administrative work.
We have added courses into TRACK University covering the new features added this month! Most videos are ready to view now but the full list of videos will be ready by the end of the week! If you're already a TRACK University user, click here to view all of the new videos for the release.
