TRACK Anywhere Access Codes and Flexible Crews Release

Management Controls, Inc. launches new features to TRACK Anywhere product suite of mobile applications.

Management Controls Inc. is continually looking for ways to improve our software to meet the needs of our customers. We have recently launched an update to TRACK Anywhere that benefits both products, Virtual Gate and Kiosk. We want TRACK Anywhere to continue to be a helpful tool for customers to monitor and manage remote workforces.

Access Codes For Kiosk

Companies can now assign each worker with a unique access code in lieu of RFID badges or QR codes. Workers can use this access code to badge in or out by typing it on the TRACK Anywhere Kiosk. Additionally, if a worker forgets or misplaces their RFID badge or QR code, they are able to use their unique access code as a backup. This cuts back on the need for companies to manage and distribute RFID badges and QR codes. Access codes are both easy to create and manage, and will give companies the flexibility to pick the most efficient option for their specific needs.

Flexible Crews For Virtual Gate

Each of our customers manage their remote worksites differently and have different needs to meet. Because of this, we have added more flexibility to TRACK Anywhere Virtual Gate. Depending on the actual project and jobs that need to be done each day, there are times when a foreman may need to pull a worker from a different crew or organization, or times when a crew is not needed, and a resource needs to operate as an individual worker. Virtual Gate now allows foremen to easily edit their crew mix and add workers from other crews as well as make someone an individual worker without a crew. Additionally, Virtual Gate now has the option to easily turn both the badge in/out and field note capabilities on and off.

Additional Updates

Our customers currently have applications to manage their workforce including Profile Manager, Management Console, TRACK, and possibly an access control system. We now offer the ability to consolidate all of the administration work into one application, Management Console. Consolidating into one application will potentially cut back on the amount of administration tasks needed and is intended to make the process more efficient.
