Management Controls Launches Performance Enhancements in April Release
Management Controls, Inc has released new performance enhancements to the TRACK Platform in the latest April software release.
We are excited to announce several key performance enhancements made to the TRACK Platform this weekend, including the launch of TRACK University. We are regularly working to identify and address issues our customers may face while using TRACK. We think the latest enhancements will improve the user experience for each of our customers!
Authorization Central Performance
We found that even though authorizations are a key part of the TRACK Daily Settlement Process, pending authorizations could load slowly depending on the size of the data-set, causing Authorizers to spend too much time in TRACK, distracting them from their role of managing contractors in the field. Because of this, we have launched Express Central which is a new way for Authorizers to perform their authorizations faster! In Express Central, Authorizers will experience improved performance with no change to the core functionality of Authorization Central. Express Central processes the authorization in the background to reduce the time users spend completing authorizations each day. Pending Authorization Alerts are available via email to provide context for pending allocations that are awaiting processing authorizers. This process allows Authorizers to quickly manage their authorizations and spend more time in the field.
Human Performance
Employees in roles that use and manage TRACK change over time and may not receive formal training to the level necessary to complete their work effectively. Additionally, the forgetting curve tells us that participants forget 42% of what they learn 20 minutes after learning completes. We have launched TRACK University for roles that are specific to using TRACK. TRACK University helps learning retention, reduces training time and provides quick access to key information when and where it is needed. Learners receive quality training, with minimum impact to the operations of the organization, when and where they need it most. User can access the newly launched TRACK University by clicking the new “TRACK U” icon on the home page of TRACK.
Reporting Performance
We found that running reports from TRACK can be a slow process when large data sets are selected using the Full Data Extract. This leads to reports hanging or failing to run at all causing frustration and down-time. With the latest release, users will now experience improved performance while running the Full Data Extract, as it retrieves data more efficiently.
Cloud Infrastructure Performance
Finally, we found that using the Microsoft classic cloud infrastructure limited MCi’s ability to provide an optimal user experience for our clients. Migrating to the new Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure enables increased performance and response times in the TRACK application. This will improve the response time and performance of all products within the TRACK Platform.
