October Release blog image-4

Management Controls, Inc. deploys User Experience Improvements in the October Release.

We are excited to announce new user experience improvements added to the TRACK Platform this month! We are always working to identify problems our customers are having while using TRACK and strive to improve the user experience.

Timesheet Reprocessing

On occasion, for customers leveraging integrations between TRACK and their ERP Systems, TRACK timesheets are sent by TRACK but not received by the ERP for a variety of reasons.

In this release, users with the correct permissions will be able to reprocess these stuck timesheets without MCi assistance.

Standardization of Date Formats

As users leverage imports to add or update information in mass users were not able to utilize a consistent date format across the TRACK imports causing frustration and work.

In this release, we have updated the date format to be consistent across most imports. Ex.) Equipment Allocations import, New Equipment import, Equipment Utilization import, TrackInOutEvents import, TrackUser import. For the specific date format requirements for these and other imports, please reach out to MCi’s Support team or your MCi Account Manager for a copy of the Track Import File Layout document.

Previous Release Spotlight: Authorization Reassignment

Have you ever had to wait for an Authorizer to return from vacation to continue the daily settlement process? In August 2020, MCi released the Authorization Reassignment feature that enables TRACK users to temporarily reassign authorizations pro-actively to a different supervisor (Area ID).

This enhancement will help to keep the daily settlement process flowing while TRACK Authorizers are out of the office! This release allows Authorizers and TRACK Coordinators to reassign authorizations to different IDs for a set date range to ensure continuation without delays.
