Keep reading for all of the new updates made to the TRACK Platform in 2021! You can find both the TRACK University learning plan and a document with more information on the benefits of the update.

User Productivity

When TRACK administrators assign areas to users within their organization, it is time-consuming to scroll through a long list to find a specific Area ID. We added the ability to search for an Area ID in TrackAdmin to improve user productivity when creating user accounts, updating a user's access to certain areas, and managing the area groups.

Override Efficiency

In the past, TRACK’s override capabilities have focused on manually requesting individual overrides for a labor resource on a daily basis. It is not unheard of that a vendor may have hundreds of employees who work outside of pre-defined assignments across multiple days, thus requiring the need to submit many overrides. With the new Override Request Import, TRACK now supports the submission of overrides across multiple days for multiple resources, reducing manual effort. This streamlines the request process for vendors submitting a large amount of labor hour overrides.

Rental Equipment Module

We are excited to announce the release of our Rental Equipment Module in the TRACK Platform! We understand that managing Rental Equipment can become difficult due to contractual needs and the need to use a separate billing process. These challenges can lead to a lack of confidence in the calculation of the rate being charged as well as potential value leakage. This one-stop solution gives customers the ability to track any kind of equipment and services spend, allowing you to make better business decisions.

User Efficiencies Release

TRACK users can now leverage imports to improve efficiency when managing regularly scheduled other costs, defining allowable time when traveling from gate to gate within a facility, and validating the status of an import without looking into the log file. We also added functionality to enable Sourcing and Procurement professionals to load the Agreement or an Agreement Overview sheet into TRACK, which will be available for Track Authorizers to review during the authorization review file.

User Experience Improvements

On occasion, for customers leveraging integrations between TRACK and their ERP Systems, TRACK timesheets are sent by TRACK but are not received by the ERP for a variety of reasons. Additionally, as users leverage imports to add or update information in mass, users were not able to utilize a consistent date format across the TRACK imports, causing frustration and work. Now, users with the correct permissions will be able to reprocess these stuck timesheets without MCi assistance. We also updated the date format to be consistent across most imports. For the specific date format requirements for these and other imports, please reach out to MCi’s Support team or your MCi Account Manager for a copy of the Track Import File Layout document.
